Rosie's New Favorite Game

 Where's Rosie?

There she is!

Where's Rosie?

There she is!

She can do this all day.  And it's a sure-fire way to stop some crying.

Whaaahh!

Thanks for sticking with us through our Disney World adventure!  It was so much fun; I didn't want to leave.  Seeing it through Charlie's two-year-old eyes was just so special. It was the best trip.

But I wanted to share this cell phone picture of our first night, as we waited for a pizza (that took forever and had to be remade.) Two tired, hungry kiddos ready for Pizza and Mickey.

Medal Men

I wanted to replicate a picture I took last year, with both the men and their medals.  But Charlie didn't feel well and would NOT cooperate.  Can you tell? :-)

The Full - Goofy!

Our last day in Orlando was a busy one - with no parks involved.  Marc was up early to run the full marathon and complete his second Goofy Challenge. How cool was the starting line for the marathon's 20th anniversary?

While Marc was running, I was packing to go home.  At first I was happy that Charlie only wanted to lay in bed. I could pack without him getting into everything.  But when he was still not interested in getting up at 9:00am, I started to worry.  He had a high temp (almost 103!) and it turned out he had an ear infection. He just laid in bed until we left, didn't want to eat anything, and was very quiet in the car.  He didn't sleep much, but watched a lot of Classical Baby in the car - his comfort video.

I loaded the baby and the sick boy in the car and picked Marc up at the finish line.

And Marc got more than a couple of medals after the marathon.  He got a MASSIVE blister.

Animal Kingdom - Safari

I had a mommy fail at Animal Kingdom.  I got us fast pass tickets that were to be used during the daily parade, thinking Charlie would have no interest in the parade. Boy, was I wrong.  As we walked to the Animal Safari, Charlie was very taken with the parade and all the Disney characters that were in it.  When we turned away from the parade Charlie twisted himself around in the stroller to keep watching. And then when he could no longer see he wailed, "Minnie! I need Minnnnnnnnnie!"

Lucky for us, he loved the Safari and forgot about the parade. Unfortunately Rosie was tired, hungry and didn't care at all about the animals all around us. She cried for almost the entire ride.  And another fail, I had left her paci in the stroller. At some point I had to turn the camera over to Marc so I could try and soothe Rosie.  Lucky for all of us, Marc can hold a toddler, narrate a safari and snaps some pictures all at the same time.

Some sort of bull maybe?  Rosie was wailing and I missed the narration on this one.

Animal Kingdom - 100 Acre Wood Characters

The cool thing about Animal Kingdom is the opportunity to meet different characters.  Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Mickey and the gang, but we are fans of Winnie the Pooh and his friends, too.

Riding the Tram

After we left Epcot and got a good lunch and nap, we headed over to Animal Kingdom.  Charlie had a wonderful time at this park, and we need to spend more time there next year.  I know it would be a good afternoon when even the tram ride from the car to the park was exciting to Charlie.  (Marc, however, was starting to feel the 13.1 miles he had run that morning.)
