Cousin Pool Party

From St. Simons, we headed to Alma, where we spent the day hanging with my McCrea family and having the best time in the pool!

Wedding TIme!

Charlie and Rosie attended their first wedding  - for Marc's cousin - and they had a great time!

But probably more so because of the reception.  They kept it hoppin'! Rosie and Charlie danced and played, kicked off their shoes, and helped Uncle Tom DJ.

 

 

 

Swimming in Alma

After a great time at the Beach, we spent a Saturday at a family reunion at Aunt Nancy's house in Alma.  And we had SO much fun.  Charlie loved playing with his cousins and all the pool toys. He was so enamored with the snorkel and mask he had to get a set to practice with in Maryland!

Rosie - being Rosie - played mostly with Grandma Dot.  But she did discover some cups and groceries and played with those for hours - filling them up and dumping them out and pretending to serve us food.

 Charlie spent a lot of time in the hot tub, wearing a swim shirt and a life vest.  So he started to overheat and turned bright red.  He got quite mad at me when I made him sit out and rest for a bit!

But every second he could, he was in the pool!

If only we could all look at the same place, at the same time, without silly expressions, it would be perfect.  But then I guess we wouldn't be us.
