At the end of MArch, I had a business trip to Atlanta.  And since it happened to be smack dab in the middle of Charlie's Spring Break, I brought the kiddos along with me.  They were SO excited to go to "the brick house"!

Any good trip to my parents' house includes a trip to Southern Pit!  It's even more fun when your cousins join you.

The Next Day

The next day, we went back to the beach in the afternoon instead of the morning and there was a little tide pool on the beach.  It was the perfect place to play! Charlie's cousins had this little raft and Charlie enjoyed it so much.

 

 And he sweet-talked his Papa into taking him for a ride.

 

 

   

 

SSI Evening Fun

After a fun day on the beach, we ate, napped and showered.  And that evening, we went to the pier to get some ice cream and play.

Rosie was not happy that Michael Michael tried to eat her ice cream! Hehe.

 

Then we went to the park at the pier.  We swang. . .

 

We people watched. . .

 We played on the slides. . .

 We climbed up the whales. . .

   

And we see-sawed.

Memorial Day - The Zipline!

Once again, my parents hosted family and friends at their house over the Memorial Day weekend.  We hat LOTS of fun and Charlie had such a blast playing with his cousins.  

One of his favorite parts of the day was the zipline!  It had been damaged during a storm and had been out of commission for several months, so it was as if it was shiny and new.
