Shopping with Rosie

 One summer day, Rosie and U ran some errands that included a stop at Michaels.  She wanted one of EVERYTHING in the store, but she had a special attachment to this bulldog. She talked to it and kissed it and wanted it to come home with her.

I told her it was too expensive and broke her little heart.  Until we came across some bracelets. And as you can see, she was just fine.

Charlie's First Nationals Game

 

Being next to DC, Marc has become a big Nationals fan. So he decided to take Charlie along to a game one afternoon.  Now they are both Nationals fans!  Although Charlie may just like the big pretzels and the batting helmets.

Charlie also got a lego Bryce Harper, and he quickly became Charlie's favorite player.

By the seventh inning, Charlie started fading a bit. But he is now a fan, too!

Rosie's First Painted Fingernails

Rosie asked to have her fingernails painted almost daily, so one weekend I obliged.  She LOVED it, and now my finger nail color selection - including various glitter polishes - has tripled. She is all girl.

We have three of these storage ottomans, as we attempt to corral the toys in our living room.  We use one to store blankets and pillows, and it has quickly become the favorite spot for hiding!
