30 Weeks

I am 30 weeks pregnant today.  It's hard to believe that we will have a baby so soon!  My reflux had gotten better but has now gotten much worse.  Friday night I couldn't go to sleep, as the bile kept rising.  And I woke up three times with a different Tums tablet in my hand.  I was sleep-reflux-treating.  My back is starting to hurt more often and I am getting more tired.  I am great until about 2:30pm every day, and after then I'm wiped.

Wednesday evening I had an event, so Marc and Charlie had a boys night.  And according to Marc, Charlie was feeling great.  He didn't sit still all night.

Marc said he sat here for three seconds before climbing down and on to the next thing.

Marc heard some noises in the hall and this is what he found.  They were in the dark.

Grandma Dot came for the weekend, so Charlie got lots of his favorite things - Grandma loving, outside and bubbles!

29 Weeks

I am 29 weeks pregnant today.  I went to the doctor for my every-other-week visit, and I'm doing fine.  Gained another pound and the baby's heartbeat sounds good.  I am having a harder time getting to sleep but sleeping okay once I start snoozing. My reflux is also very bad when I lay down, too.  And the Tums aren't doing much to help. And I am much more emotional.  Poor Marc!

Charlie is starting to say sentences we (kind of) understand.  My sit wiff Mama (I want to sit with Mama) Home daddy doggie. (I want to go home where I will see Daddy and the dogs)  More crackers. (No explanation needed!)

28 Weeks

I am 28 weeks pregnant today.  Third Trimester!  I guess we better start getting ready for her arrival.

I had an extra ultrasound Friday because I am an underweight mom.  Or was, anyway, when it was scheduled. Now, with all the ice cream eating, I am doing pretty well.  No pictures, because she wouldn't show us her face or her head.  But she is measuring perfectly, absolutely average.  Everything looks very good.  She is up to 2 pounds, some-odd ounces

Charlie has a new molar on the bottom poking through.  We had seen it pressing against the gum, but it has now started to break the skin.  This has led to very early mornings (up at 4:45 or 5:00am), little eating, diaper rash (just when we thought it was over!) and lots of fussing.
