Epcot - Nemo!

By the time we got to the Nemo ride, Charlie was tired of pictures.  And ready for a nap.

But he loved the ride and exploring the aquarium after.  We literally dragged him out of the Manatee viewing room as he kicked and screamed.  But he got over it by looking at anemones.

And of course, the shark pics.

Epcot - Chip and Dale

Charlie was SO excited to meet Chip and Dale.  He was all smiles with them.  And they were as rascally in person as they are on screen.

Epcot - World of Tomorrow

While Marc was recovering from running 13.1 miles, he watched Rosie and Charlie and I rode the World of Tomorrow.  Also known as the big golf ball.

Charlie was very attentive and watched everything. 

I think this looks a whole lot like my grandparent's living room, with the stand up lamp, brick wall and metal decor.

You answer a few questions and they tell you about your future

We will ride in a space craft to visit our country home, and a robot will take care of Sandy and Lullabelle.

And we will evidently play board games in the future.

The first thing we did at Epcot?  Find Goofy and let him know that Daddy had completed the first half (or really, a third) of the Goofy Challenge.

Then we found Mickey, although we also found a bad photographer.

 PLUTO!

And then Charlie flirted a bit with Minnie.

 

 While Charlie was in Disney heaven, Rosie was not impressed.

Kiddio Tidbits

Rosie is getting her third tooth!  it is her upper left front tooth, and we can see that two more are about to come in on the bottom.

If we say ouch or exclaim in any way, Charlie asks Mama okay? or Daddy okay?  We will say yes, and then ask if Charlie is okay.  We will then get "Yep. Uh-huh. Ok!"

And when we are in the car, Charlie likes to ask, "Whatcha Doing Mama? Whatcha Doing?"  I'll say I'm driving Charlie.  What are you doing?  He then usually says, enthuastically, "Watching Mickey Mouse!"

 Rosie is babling full force!  "Dadadadadadadadadadada. Bababababababa."  And then a few shrieks. And she is waving.  It is THE cutest thing.

When we read books at night, Charlie can read the word moon.  But he doesn't just say the word, he exclaims,"Mooooooooon!"

When he is easting a popsicle and is feeling like sharing, he will point it towards me and say," Mama's turn."  And after I take a bite he will then take a bite after saying, "Charlie's turn!"

After the Half

Marc ran the half marathon - the Donald - which ended at Epcot.  So we spent the morning at the park, checking out our future and meeting characters. . .

Charlie's Race

 

On Friday, Charlie again participated in the Kid's races associated with the Disney Race Weekend.  And y'all, he was AWESOME.

Instead of getting there really early like last year, we got there very close to the race start time.  Almost too close for our comfort.

And like last year, the 100 yard dash was first.  Charlie and Marc were in the last wave while Rosie and I cheered them on.

Charlie ran full steam, and Marc was so proud of his future runner!

Fun - a Medal!

And here are the shots we bought - scanned in.  A digital image was over $25! Marc like the first one a lot because both feet were off the ground.

I liked this one because you really saw his focus - to run so fast!
