Charlie's First Professional Hair Cut

Charlie took some swim lessons in March (more on that later) and so I was finally convinced to get his hair cut.  His mop top had gotten too long, and it was to the point where Charlie had to tilt his head up to see from under his bangs.  I knew that it would be in his way when he was swimming, so after gymnastics, we went to the barber shop.

 Charlie sat so still and was so good during his hair cut.  It helped that each station has a little tv.  Sponge Bob kept the temper tantrum away!

He's not a baby anymore.  Looks like such a big boy!

We meet at the park every Sunday to play.  It is a great way for the boys to socialize, learn to share, and burn off some energy to ensure a good nap!

What We Ate Last Week

Pasta! 

I cooked some spiral pasta for Rosie in with the spaghetti noodles.  She loved them and gobbled them down.  I didn't make enough!

Children's Museum Part 4

Rosie had fun at the Museum, too.  There is a section just for kids her size, and a place to put toys that babies have chewed on so they can be sanitized.  I think I was most impressed with that!

Ooooh - it makes noise when you shake it? Gimme gimme gimme!

Everything goes to her mouth.  So impressed with the sanitizing!

Charlie likes the baby section, too.  Tunnels!

Children's Museum Part 3

Charlie's other favorite part was the train tracks - especially the tunnels!  And since there were very few kids there, he had it all to himself.

By far, Charlie's favorite part of the Children's Museum was the fishing hole.  They had poles with magnets on them to try and "catch" the fish. He could have stayed here for hours.

The fishing hole was in the middle of what I guess is a forest.  There was a tree house that Charlie had no interest in exploring.

And Marc had fun with some woodland creatures.

Charlie has watched Your Baby can Read a lot in the car. There is a segment that says something like the squirrel looks like he is talking - Hi there!  Hi there!  So if you ask Charlie what a squirrel says, he will respond with, "Hi there!" And that is what he is saying to the squirrels in the trees, while whacking them with a fishing pole.

There is also a tunnel under the fishing hole and a bubble so little kids can stand and see what's going on.  Adults should NOT try and fit in there.  Trust me.
