Today Rosie starts the 3 year old class. I tried to get a picture, but we either had a goofy face, a sign you can't read, a blurry Rosie or a flash of Charlie as he ran in front of the camera.

New Clothes
I was folding clothes and Charlie saw a new outfit - a hand-me-down from his cousins with Mario Brothers on it. He was so happy that he hugged the shirt. And then Rosie tried to hug the shirt too.

Playing Well Together
We have SO. MANY. TOYS. But why play with those when you can empty the storage bin they are supposed to be in and play with the bin instead?

Amir and Conner's Birthday Party
In June, two of Charlie's school friends had a birthday party at Pump It Up. Marc was on the road at a show, so Rosie and I went along for the fun. We arrived and Charlie took off with his friends - I got very few pictures of him. But Rosie stuck close to me and bounced away.
When we went to the second room, Charlie stopped bouncing and with his friend Rinky, started building with these huge blocks.
By the time we left I had two tired, sweaty kids. It was a successful party!

Running Errands
Marc was out of town, so the kids and I ran some errands together. That included getting some plants from Home Depot and groceries.
At Home Depot, there was a very unwieldy cart that we used, but it was great for two older kids. At the grocery store, everyone had their own cart. And now, if the kids go to a store with us, they expect their own cart. I created a monster (or two)!

Last Day at PreSchool
Friday was Charlie's last day of Day Care. He will spend this week with Marc, playing with Legos and splashing in the pool. And then a week from today - on his 5th birthday(!!) - Charlie will start kindergarten at Fulton Elementary School. He doesn't want us to drop him off, he wants to ride the bus. He is getting so big and I am having a hard time with the fact that my baby is not a baby anymore.

Hailey's Birthday Party
When we came back from Georgia, Charlie attended the birthday party of his classmate Hailey. It was at Clark's Elioak Farm, and Charlie had a BLAST. He and his friends played in a big treehouse and trucks until we began our tour of the farm.
Everyone was excited about a pony ride, especially Charlie and his buddy Rinky.
Birthday Girl Hailey rode first.
And then after a few other friends rode, it was Charlie's turn
Then the kids checked out more animals.
Then - after a thorough hand washing - it was time for cake!
Happy Birthday Hailey!
