On the Friday before the first day of school, Charlie and I went to his orientation. He saw many of his friends from Columbia Academy and got to play and have arts and crafts while I held back the tears and learned all about kindergarten. We also got to ride a bus, so Charlie could practice. And he and I got to ride with one of Charlie's classmates and new friend, Samantha.
Charlie's kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Little. She has 25 years experience teaching, and this is her first year with kindergarten. She was teaching 1st grade, but since the 1st grade curriculum is now the kindergarten curriculum, there is no learning curve.
Charlie was ready to be a Fulton Falcon!
