Graham's Birthday Party

In February, we were invited to join Charlie's friend Graham as he celebrated turning 3 at the Memorial Park Zoo.

And since we were at the zoo, I thought an animal print would be an appropriate outfit choice.  And it was!  she was the cutest kid there.

Rosie and one of our favorite teachers, Miss Vernai.

Miss Camille showed the kids a couple of the animals that live in the zoo. First up was a turtle.

Charlie was excited to pet it.  Rosie not so much.

Then we met a duck.

And then - a hedgehog!

They could not pet the hedgehog, but they got to watch it eat some crickets.

Then Warren, Carter and Charlie pretended to drive around in a jeep.

And after we toured the rest of the zoo.

We saw the beaver. . .

. . .and the alligator. . .

. . .and the owl. . .

. . .and the possum. . .

. . .and the eagle. . .

. . .and the bears. . .

. . .and the bobcats. . .

. . .and the turkeys. . .

. . .and the silly kiddos.

And then we sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes that the kids got to decorate them selves.

It was a great party.
