Iron Men

Saturday, during that pile of crap called a football game, Marc and I had an interesting experience. We met Ironman Scott Rigsby. There were two Ironmen in the same room - and we weren't at a race!

Scott is a UGA grad and a double leg amputee. When he was 18, he was in a pretty terrible traffic accident. One leg was immediately amputated, and he lost the other one later due to complications from the accident.

And y'all, he runs marathons. And competes in Ironman triathalons. I have both legs and could only compete in couch sitting and internet surfing.

He is an inspiring man and I was so glad we got a chance to talk with him.

Road Trip!

Our dogs have totally different car personalities. Sandy is nervous the entire time - won't sleep, doesn't want the window down, wants to be right next to you and gets nervous when cars pass. Lullabelle LOVES to get in the car, LOVES to have her head out the window and will sleep most of the ride if it's a long one. But amazingly, they ride well together, and Sandy is less anxious with Lullabelle sleeping beside her.

Here are some pics from our recent trip to SSI.

Random Wednesday - Doggie Lovin' Edition

Even though he is very allergic, Bowen LOVES Lullabelle. He followed her everywhere - even to the water bowl.

Trick-or-Treat

While Marc and Sandy stayed at the condo on Halloween waiting for trick-or-treaters, Lullabelle and I went trick-or-treating with Buzz Lightyear and Woody (aka Hudson and Bowen.)

It was so fun watching Hudson ring the doorbell, say "Trick-or-Treat" and then "Thank you." Bowen was very friendly - he wanted to go right on in the house when the door was answered.

Georgia-Florida

The best part of the game was the hotdog.

The company wasn't too bad, they just got to cheer a lot more than I would have liked.
