Charlie's Field Trip

Charlie's class went on a field trip to the Baltimore Aquarium, and Marc was able to again go as a chaperone.  Luckily, Marc sent me lots of pictures so I felt like I was there, too.

Charlie sat on the bus with his school friend Victor

Charlie loved the Dolphin show, and asked Marc to specifically send me the picture of the dolphins, to show me that they were talking to him.

Judging by the tired boys on the bus, it was a good time.

Mama's Socks

I hate to wear socks in bed. I usually have a pair or two on the floor next to my side of the bed that I have taken off right before I go to sleep.

And since Charlie was sick, we let him sleep in Mama and Daddy's bed so he could get some snuggles.  Because, you know, they make you better!

So it made me laugh when Charlie came into the bathroom as I got dressed looking like this.  He woke up and I wasn't there.  And his feet were cold. Charlie put on the first socks he could find, right by the bed, and came to find me.

Shower Fun

Since Charlie was sick, we didn't let them take a bath like normal.  So Rosie took a shower, and it was the first time she really loved it.

Poor Sick Baby

In December, Charlie came down with a high fever.  It was over a weekend and he had no other symptoms, just a fever.  When he took medicine he was better, and then as it wore off he got more lethargic.

On Monday, he went to the doctor and turns out, he had the flu.  But by then it was too late to give him any medicine.  Luckily, it was a mild case and no one else in the house caught it.

Can you tell that one kid is sick and one is not?

Playing Games With Daddy

Charlie got a Ninja Turtle board game for his birthday and he really enjoys playing it.  So far, it's the only board game he "gets."

Bubble Bath!

The kids don't hate bath time, but neither one wants to get in first - unless it's a bubble bath.

And it's always more fun when Daddy plays along, blowing the bubbles everywhere - even on faces.

Charlie thought the bubbles on her face were much funnier than Rosie did.

Dress Up Fun

After Halloween, I bought a few costumes on sale just for dress up fun.  Spidey and Doc approved.

Sleeping Cuddles

The kiddos slept with me and when I got up to get dressed, they were both laying on pillows.  But when I came back, this is what I found.

All That Glitters

One of the gifts I received for my birthday was a pink, sequined scarf.  Rosie immediately took a shine to it and had it with her for the rest of the day.
