Move!

My attempt to get pictures is interfering with a viewing of Mickey Mouse.

Pizza and a Parade

Back in November, we decided to go to the UGA Homecoming parade.  And we thought it would be a good idea to get pizza first. And then, we invited some friends to join us.  Two huge Mellow Mushroom booths later, we were having a fabulous time.  Pizza and parades are always better with friends.

Turkey T-Shirts

I just wanted a picture of my cute kids in their Thanksgiving t-shirts.  And I was hopeful, given the smiles Rosie was sharing

Then I added in Big Brother, and suddenly Rosie was having none of it.

I may not have gotten smiles, but I got my cute kids in their Thanksgiving t-shirts.

Blocks

Charlie and Rosie have really enjoyed playing with blocks lately.  I am enjoying that instead of throwing them at the tv or each other, they are building towers and knocking them down.

Charlie, in particular, is getting very good at building block towers.

He is also good at knocking them down.

Rosie much prefers to knock down a tower, which drives her brother crazy.  So she tries to charm him with her Say Cheese face.

Washington Farms - The Pig Races

Then we said it was time for the pig races, and Charlie and Carter took off!  This was their favorite part of the day.

Each pig is given a color, and someone in the audience is also given that color.  So we cheered for red!

Getting ready to race

Charlie adn Carter cheered hard, but red finished second.  But they got a cool spider ring.  Charlie loves a spider ring, so this was even better than whatever first place was.

We cheered on more pigs and ate some kettle corn before heading home.  There was a lot more things to do, but Rosie was tired and cranky and it was getting close to dinner time.  Next year, we will have to go earlier so we can enjoy more of the fun activities.
