Christmas Day at the McMottes

This was a big Christmas at the McMottes, because we actually had a Christmas tree this year! It was a perfect tree for a few gifts from Santa.  Charlie received some fun gifts, including a tricycle from Grandma Janice and Papa!

Charlie hasn't quite figured out the pedal thing yet, but he will get it soon.  We can't wait to get him outside with the trike, as soon as the helmet arrives and it is not too wet or too cold!

Santa brought Charlie several Christmas books, and Charlie was especially excited by his Elmo book.  He had to read it before he moved on to the next gift.

And then he got to the stocking!

Charlie liked one of the Mickey shirts that Santa brought him sooo much that he had to put it in.  Immediately!

Light up Bouncy Ball!

Charlie made out well, with 2 Mickey shirts, sun glasses, a Mickey DVD, books, Christmas socks and Mickey hot wheels.

Just wait until next year and Rosie will be unwrapping gifts, too!

My Thanksgiving Birthday Cake

Since my birthday is in late November, I usually get a special cake at Thanksgiving.  Thi year, Charlie was excited to help Grandma Dot light my candles.  He also enjoyed eating the chocolate chips off the cake, which is why I had to hold his hands while I blew out my candles.

Thanksgiving Fun

For Thanksgiving, we made our usual trip down to Macon to enjoy the day with family.  And Charlie really had a blast playing outside. Between the baseballs, footballs, golf balls, and big wheels, Charlie did not stop.  And Papa Kirby, Uncle Michael and Cousin Hudson were happy to play, too!
