Playtime With Grandma and Papa - Part 2

Playtime at Grandma Dot and Papa Kirby's house always involves the Artic Cat.  The kids  - especially BatCharlie - just love to drive or ride in it!

It's also fun to try and fit in the back, but as BatCharlie discovered, you can't drive and squeeze in the small compartment.  Papa Kirby to the rescue!

Playtime With Grandma and Papa - Part 1

One Sunday, Charlie, Rosie and I went to Hampton to have some fun with Grandma Dot and Papa Kirby. They had LOTS of fun and played hard all day - which means more than one blog post!

We started the day by playing dress up.  Not quite sure what Rosie was, but Bat Charlie kept us safe all day.

Tailgating

We didn't actually go to the game, but after soccer one Saturday, we had some fun tailgating before a UGA football game. Charlie really enjoyed the Doritos and all the boys were excited about cookie in the middle of the morning.

Charlie, Carter and Warren are such good friends and can have fun anywhere. They really enjoyed playing on the front steps to Morris Hall, a residence hall on campus.  They also threw around a football and chased bubbles. Rosie and Baby James want to play, too, and do a pretty good job of keeping up.

If Carter can do it, Charlie can, too!

Rose had a great time with the boys.  She played hard and crashed quickly!

Bedtime

Lullabelle loves a comfy place to lay, and Charlie's bed is the perfect place.

Temper Tantrum Turtle

Charlie is taking seriously the responsibility of three-year olds to test boundaries and push parents.  We are getting lots of throw yourself down, kick and scream, cry and holler, throw shoes and toys type of fits.

This one was over a Saturday nap, after we took away the paci for good. Charlie was NOT happy about it.  The screaming below is all PACI!!  PAAAACCCI! It was heartbreaking.  We took away his soother, his comforter, his best little pal Paci. I know it was time to get rid of it, but watching Charlie hurt my heart.
