Flat Stanley Watches Gymnastics

My nephew Bowen sent us Flat Stanley, who went on several adventures with us, one of which was to a Maryland gymnastics meet. Go Terps!

And Then There Was More Snow

By the end of March, I was so over Winter.  So very, very tired of the cold and the wet and the snow.  There were no snow days.  Maryland is so good about clearing roads and I still had to go to work. But they kids still found such joy in the snow that I couldn't hate it complete.  Just mostly!

Field Trip

The University gives staff part of Spring Break off - it's the first time I've had a Spring Break off since I was in college!.  The kids still had school, and one of the days I was off was a field trip day for Charlie. So he and I went to the Robinson Nature Preserve with his classmates.

Charlie was excited because we got to ride a bus!  Even though is was only about 5 miles away, a bus trip is exciting when you are 4.

It was an interesting place, with some live animals and some skins of others. And boys being boys, Charlie and his pals loved it.

Even More Snow

I think this was in March.  I was SOOOO over winter. Marc, however, made the best out of it.

Lacrosse

This Spring, Charlie had his first taste of Lacrosse.  He really liked it and was pretty good at it.  This class taught some of the fundamentals.  This Fall, I hope he can play a little bit.

Charlie's the one in the blue shirt.

And now he's in a green Ninja Turtle shirt.

Rosie enjoyed watching her brother.  I think she may give lacrosse a try, too.
