Children's Museum Part 4

Rosie had fun at the Museum, too.  There is a section just for kids her size, and a place to put toys that babies have chewed on so they can be sanitized.  I think I was most impressed with that!

Ooooh - it makes noise when you shake it? Gimme gimme gimme!

Everything goes to her mouth.  So impressed with the sanitizing!

Charlie likes the baby section, too.  Tunnels!

Children's Museum Part 3

Charlie's other favorite part was the train tracks - especially the tunnels!  And since there were very few kids there, he had it all to himself.

Children's Museum Part 2

By far, Charlie's favorite part of the Children's Museum was the fishing hole.  They had poles with magnets on them to try and "catch" the fish. He could have stayed here for hours.

The fishing hole was in the middle of what I guess is a forest.  There was a tree house that Charlie had no interest in exploring.

And Marc had fun with some woodland creatures.

Charlie has watched Your Baby can Read a lot in the car. There is a segment that says something like the squirrel looks like he is talking - Hi there!  Hi there!  So if you ask Charlie what a squirrel says, he will respond with, "Hi there!" And that is what he is saying to the squirrels in the trees, while whacking them with a fishing pole.

There is also a tunnel under the fishing hole and a bubble so little kids can stand and see what's going on.  Adults should NOT try and fit in there.  Trust me.

Children's Museum Part 1

A while back, I purchased discount tickets for the Atlanta Children's museum.  Since they were about to expire, we took a day off of school and work and went to have some fun.  Charlie LOVED it, but he probably would have loved it more with his best buddy Carter.  But let me tell you, 1pm on a weekday was a great time to go.

One section is all about food - where it comes from and how it gets to us.

Milking the cow!

Helping Daddy move the food boxes

Not really sure what this was, but it was a little too advanced for Charlie.

There was a elaborate set up with balls and gears and pneumatic tubes.  Charlie didn't get it all, but where there is a ball Charlie will have fun!

And there was so much more you will have to see it in the next post. . .

What We Ate Last Week

Carrots!  And she would only eat them if she could feed herself.

Shake Shake Shake

Rosie just loves to hold a rattle in each hand and shake them like crazy.

And notice how her hair stays up, even without a bow in it?
