Dressed Up/Dressed Down

 Today Charlie has a field trip to a local dinner theatre, and his class was encouraged to dress up.  Rosie has a wacky tacky day. Opposite ends of the clothing spectrum but they are still cute as can be!

 

No Bees!

 There are a few bees buzzing around the patio, pollinating our flowers and bushes.  Charlie is not a fan of bees, and decided to take some precautions.

 And as usual, monkey see, monkey do!

Coloring

 Last weekend was beautiful, so the kids and I played outside on the patio.  Rosie wanted to color, so I set her up at the patio table while I trimmed a crepe myrtle.  When I turned around I realized she wasn't coloring her picture. . .

School Friend Charlie's Birthday

Last weekend, Rosie had 2 birthday parties to attend in a row.  One was for "school friend" Charlie, and Rosie had a blast! She ran around and climbed on all the inflatables without me.  At the same place last year, she had to have me with her at all times.  My, how she has grown!

And the cake was goooood.

While we were in Hampton, the power company replaced the power pole that has been there since my parents built the house.  Charlie adn Grandma cuddled and watched. . .

Charlie also got to drive the four-wheeler "all by himself."  He was so proud!

Being in Georgia meant a lot of time outside, including racing Papa Kirby!

Visiting Hampton

At the end of MArch, I had a business trip to Atlanta.  And since it happened to be smack dab in the middle of Charlie's Spring Break, I brought the kiddos along with me.  They were SO excited to go to "the brick house"!

Tablets

Charlie and Rosie received tablets for Christmas and they LOVE them.  I think if we let them, they would be on them all. the. time.  So we limit it to mostly weekends, and usually only an hour or so.  I caught this on a Sunday after one of Charlie's flag football games.  They were next to each other and not fighting!

I am loved

As Rosie and I were working on birthday cards for some of her friends, Charlie was hard at work on a surprise project for me.  I loved the surprise!
