Athena's Wedding

One of our favorite teachers ever, Athena, got married to her long-time love Bo in March.  We left the kiddos at home and went to her wedding reception. I wish we had brought them - I know Charlie in particular would have enjoyed himself on the dance floor.  But we were avoiding the past-bedtime meltdowns.  For the bride's sake!

Gettin' Down on the Dance Floor

Happy Easter!

The McMottes had a wonderful Easter.  It started with some nice goodies from the Bunny.

 

 

And then we met Grandma Dot and Papa Kirby for lunch at Outback in our Easter duds. 

 

 

Rosie didn't really want to eat, but had a lot of fun feeding Grandma.

 

After lunch, Grandma and papa gave them a new fishing game.  Super-smart Grandma Dot took washers and weighted down easter egss - like a weeble-wobble.  And she put a screw on top so they are easy to fish out of the container.

 

Charlie loves it!

Once we got home we opened an Easter Bunny gift - a bubble gun!
