Scary Marc

For Halloween this year, Marc decided to get in the spirit.  But as he put on the makeup, he would come out and show Rosie and Charlie, so they would know it was still him and not be scared.  Such a good dad!

Halloween at CAML

 One of the things I miss about Athens is how involved I was in the kids' daycare.  In Maryland, I am much farther away from their school and can't drop in for events.  It has to be scheduled on my end.  So for Halloween I held the afternoon and was able to get to their school just in time for Halloween snacks.  (I missed the morning dress-up.  I'll have to see if Marc has pictures.)

Rosie very much enjoyed the cheesy poofs.

Field Trip

Charlie and his class went on a field trip, and Marc was able to go as a chaperone.

And he got to pick out and bring home a pumpkin to decorate.

They all had a lot of fun, Especially Charlie and his friend Amir.

Maple Lawn Fall Festival

Our new neighborhood put on a fun fall festival this year.  It included a halloween costume contest, food trucks and a petting zoo.

   

 

 

  Rosie's favorite was a pumpkin decorating station!

Eating at the Pit

Any good trip to my parents' house includes a trip to Southern Pit!  It's even more fun when your cousins join you.

Up in the AIr

At the end of September, Charlie and Rosie took their first ride on an airplane! We flew to Atlanta for a long weekend, and Charlie sat with me, and Rosie and Marc were right behind us. 

They both did really well at the airport and on the plane. Charlie loved the window, but he needs to be just a little taller to look out the entire ride.
