We had a nanny lined up to take care of Charlie once I returned to work, but she moved back to North Carolina to be closer to her parents. And I've looked into day care and found a great one, but Charlie can't start until March. So the little man has been lucky enough to have his grandparents stay with us to care for him while we work.
My mom knew it would be hard for me to be at work, so she has taken lots of pictures so I will know what he does all day.
He plays in his jumper.
And then has a little music time with a kick-toy.
Charlie has tummy time and talks to the stuffed doggie.
He wonders where Mama is.
But Grandma says Mama will be home soon so Charlie plays in the exersaucer.
He poses for a few pictures in his good-lookin' Ohio State outfit.
And then wonders if Mama misses him.
When he hears that yes, Mama misses him somethin' awful, he goes back to playing. Now he's got his fun zoo animals.
Then he hears that Mama and Daddy are coming home. Yay! He knows they will hold him, so Charlie gets a little more play time with his exercise gym.
