Potty Seat

I read somewhere that you shouldn't spring a potty seat on a child and that it should be there before he is ready.  I don't know if it is true, but I decided it couldn't hurt.  So I mentioned it might be a good Christmas present to my mom, who said that she had one we could go ahead and use.

He seems to enjoy it, although he doesn't quite know why it is here.

And we've moved it to the bathroom, so he won't be using the living room as his toilet.

Little Prodigies Potluck

Last week, Charlie's daycare had a potluck dinner, and the kiddies could wear their costumes for Halloween. So after we got finished with work, we got Charlie dressed up in his little devil outfit. 

He wasn't so sure about it initially.

Oh, wait - TV is on?  Maybe this isn't so bad.

Once we got back to Charlie's school, he moved non stop.  You will notice all the pictures are blurry - that's because they were taken as he ran around and around, socializing and checking out everyone else's costumes. He even ate on the run, wondering around with a chicken finger.

Even though the dogs are just on the other side of Charlieland, the little man likes to talk to the dogs in the pictures.  It goes kind of like this - "Dadadada Dog da dog dog dada do."

 

**Yes, there is a fine coat of dust on the entertainment center.  I'd rather play with Charlie than clean.  :-) **

Charlie's Favorite Things - Blocks

For his birthday, Charlie got a great gift from Aunt Cheri and Uncle Michael - wooden blocks! He likes to carry them around and knock them over when we put them in a pile.  He will put them through the basketball goal and try to stick them in ball chutes. We just have to teach him not to throw them!

Charlie will cuddle the heck out of a stuffed animal.  If you hold it out to him, he gets a big grin and goes to it with his arms outstreached.  And then he gives it a hug and sways back and forth.  But with his big dog, he uses it more as a wrestle buddy or a pillow.

Charlie doesn't really pay much attention to the tv unless Classical Baby or Baby Mozart are on.  Except at 6:58pm when the lottery balls appear. Everything stops for those fun little balls.  We just hope it is helping him learn his numbers!
