Charlie's Halloween Party

Charlie's class Halloween party was a lot of fun.  And he was pretty excited about it.

They began by singing a song about a bear in the woods.  I had never heard the song, but there were sound effects and the kids knew it well.  I am wondering if this is where Charlie's new-found fear of bears originated.

There were some really cute costumes.  And all Charlie's friends were so excited to wear them.

Finally Charlie got to put on all of his costume.

And they all went trick-or-treating at the other classrooms.

We did have a minor traffic accident and Lightning McQueen lost one of his headlights.  Luckily no major damage was done to the wall or to Lightning and we worked it out without involving insurance companies.

Then it was time for Halloween Bingo.  Poor Charlie has my luck.  Every other kid got a bingo except for him.  Luckily he still got a prize and never knew the difference. He was just happy to play.

Warren won some super-cool sunglasses and Charlie got a lollipop (his favorite right now) but couldn't get the wrapper off like Camilla had.  But I was there and ready to help!

Charlie had a great time.  With games, sugar and your favorite cartoon character, how could you not?
