 These floaty vests have changed our lives.  The kids can swim around adn don't have to cling to a parent the entire time they are in the pool.  The floaty especially gave Charlie more confidence to swim around and enjoy the pool.  Such a great purchase.

 

Carter had a great time splashing Marc, just so Marc would splash back.

Silly Babies

At Miss Anne's, Charlie thought it was SO FUNNY to make silly faces at me on the door.  (Sorry, Anne, for all the nose and hand prints on the door!)

And then they hung out in a dog house for a little while.  (Don't worry, Grandmas Dot and Janice.  It was clean.  Mostly.)

Mireckis in Athens!

We were SO excited this summer when the Mireckis came back to Athens for a visit.  Ed and Katherine are so important to us and we have missed them terribly since their move to Tacoma. Anne adn Bob had a gathering so we could all see them and have some fun.

There was fun for the kids, too. 

 

And beer, of course.

What's your name? Charlie!

What is your favorite food? A banana (I think this is because he had just eaten a banana.)

What food do you NOT like? Poo poo. That's yucky! We don't eat poo poo. 

What is your favorite toy? Ninja Turtles (pronounced Inja, though.  Its adorable!)

What is your thing to wear? Halloween stuff, like the ninja turtles stuff

Who is your favorite person in the whole wide world? Carter Daniel!

What is your favorite thing to play? Angry Birds (Huh. He hasn't played Angry Birds. But he has watched cousin Hudson play them.)

 What is your favorite song? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (we have a definite theme here)

Where is your favorite place to eat? McDonalds

Who is your best friend? Lute and Warren and Joshie and Carter

What is your favorite part about you? Some Flowers (and then he spelled his name. )

Whats your favorite movie? Star Wars (as Rosie shouted in the background, "No, Ninja Turtles!"  even she knows.)

What's your favorite color? Green 

What is your favorite book? Danny and the Dinosaur (Same as last year, although I don't know when he last read it.)

What do you like to take to bed with you? My red Ninja Turtle

What do you want to do when you grow up? I want to have an orange rocket and an orange gun. (A reference to a Nerf commercial we saw earlier.  There were boys playing with Nerf guns and Charlie said he wanted one.  I said he had to be a bigger boy to get one.)

What is your favorite animal? A doggie like Lullabelle

What is your favorite TV Show? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (no surprise!)
