Christmas is for the Kiddies

Is there anything better than the joy on the face of a child? And we got a lot of joy in Hampton on Christmas!

Marc and I left Pensacola on Christmas day and drove to my parents house in Hampton. Our Christmas lunch consisted of Funyuns, beef jerky, Sweettarts and Dr. Pepper - there's not much open other than gas stations on Christmas! But we had a yummy spaghetti dinner to make up for the junk. Before dinner, we opened our gifts and the boys must have been very good this year. Here is a small sampling of the many, many gifts they received.

Opening the gifts from Aunt Lyn and Uncle Larry-

Bowen was enamored with his Mickey Mouse ornament.

They got new boots from Grandma and Papa and LOVED them.

Here's Bowen opening a piggy bank from me and Marc. I love the happy face he made when we told him what it was and what went into it.

And here's Hudson opening another gift from us. It took him a minute to figure out that it was a Transformer, but once he did he was super-excited!

Such sweet memories of such sweet moments! Nothing like Christmas through the eyes of a child. Looks like Hudson and Bowen had a fantastic Christmas. Trey and Jesse love their banks too! Jesse immediately got coins from Papa to put in his. Thank you!
