Sunday at the Park

This particular Sunday morning, Rosie was more interested in checking out the dirt and grass than playing on the playground.

But Charlie had a rough time.  He fell off a swing - hard - and was not a happy boy the rest of the morning. I have never seen him sad for so long.

GMOA Family Day

On May 17, the Georgia Museum of Art had a Family Day.  Charlie had a soccer game so Rosie and I went over after her gymnastics lesson.  I had packed her clothes to change into, but she insisted on keeping her leotard and hoodie on. 

We walked around the exhibits.  There is one currently up that are pencil sketches, and she wasn't very taken with them.  But when we exited and she saw color paintings, she let out a loud, "Ahhhhhh."  It was adorable and I heard several people chuckle. 

She asked me about babies so we specifically looked at paintings with babies in them and Rosie was very into it.  I think I need to take her to more museums!

Then we went to the classroom and created an art piece using a picture of us.

We were then going to see Charlie's soccer game, but Art was clearly exhausting.

I don't know who won, and at this age I really don't care.  They played a good game and had fun.

Charlie's First Trip to the Dentist

On April 28, Charlie had his first dentist appointment.  I had one right before him, so he could see what would happen.  Charlie was really more interested in watching Little Einsteins on my computer than watching my teeth get cleaned, but some of it must have sunk in because he was cool and calm when it was his turn.

 

 

 

Charlie was amazing!  He did all that the hygienist asked him to do and was never upset.  And now he wants to floss his teeth every night.
