Warrior Dash!

Saturday, Marc and his friend Bobby ran the Warrior Dash in North Georgia. It's a three mile race with obstacles, mud and fire. Marc has been looking forward to this for weeks! Marc and Bobby were in the first wave of 13,000 participants, many of whom dressed in some interesting costumes.

They started with a run and then through a tire pit, a plank walk over some water - which became a swim through the water, and a tunnel crawl. Then some more running.

Right after the half way point, they climbed a wall.

Then ran up a mountiain, through a junkyard obstacle, up a cargo rope, crawled through a muddy barbed wire pit and then down a mud slide.

Can you tell they enjoyed the mud?

Then they waded through water and over logs. Bobby lost his shoe at this point, but found it in the water.

Another short dash and it's on to the fire!

And the race was well prepared for fire.

And then the finish line!
